Kappa

Kappa are water-dwelling creatures known for their humanoid form, green skin, and a dish-shaped depression on their heads that holds water, their source of strength. They are notorious for dragging unwary travelers into rivers, but they are also associated with agriculture, serving as protectors of rice fields. Kappa are tricksters, often engaging in playful but sometimes dangerous pranks.
