Kashihara Jingū

Kashihara Jingū is dedicated to Emperor Jinmu, the first emperor of Japan. Established in 1889, it is located where Emperor Jinmu is traditionally believed to have ascended to the throne. The shrine celebrates the origins of the imperial line and hosts various ceremonies and cultural events throughout the year.
