Karenkō Jinja

Karenkō Jinja served as a focal point for Shinto worship during the Japanese occupation of Taiwan. It was dedicated to the spirits of the Japanese imperial family. Although the original structure no longer exists, its remains illustrate the past colonial religious practices and their sociocultural implications in Taiwan.
